Finally, a quality large size brush at an affordable price!  If you work on large canvases or murals, you know that large brushes can be extremely expensive.

Daler-Rowney has now expanded the Simply Simmons line to include brushes in 5 large sizes: 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70.  There are 3 hair types available:  Soft Synthetic Gold ,Stiff Synthetic Burgundy and Natural Bristle .

The flats and filberts range in size from 1 3/8″ to 2 1/2″ in width and length and the rounds range from 3/4″ to 1″ in width and 2″ to 2 1/4″ in length.  The overall length of the brushes range from 11″ to 14 1/2″.

Good for:

Soft Synthetic Gold for fluid color, water-based paints, large area washes and smooth surfaces. 

Stiff Synthetic Burgundy for heavy body color, impasto, and rough surfaces.  

Natural Bristle for oil and acrylic, or gesso and varnish on any surface.
